These are incredibly challenging times for our school district. Our families, teachers, and taxpayers are navigating uncertainty, and what they need most right now is clarity — clarity in leadership, in budget decisions, and in long-term planning.Transparency is not a luxury. It is a requirement for public trust. And requesting accountability is not an attack — it’s the assurance of strong district leadership.

We believe that the time has come to take meaningful action. That includes making the difficult — but necessary — decision not to extend the Superintendent’s contract for a probationary year.This is not a personal attack. This is a reflection of what the community is asking for: WLWV leadership that is transparent, collaborative, and accountable to the public it serves.
